Darren Fowler – Creative Director

Darren Fowler, the man behind Fowler35, ensuring we all live the mantra ‘great hair matters’. When he’s not in the salon, Darren can be found backstage at London Fashion Week, shooting campaigns, teaching other hairdressers all over the world… and walking his dog Inca around Fitzrovia and beyond.

More about Darren Fowler

What is your hair superpower?
Creating a visual identity that makes people feel confident and empowered.

What do you love to do with hair?
I love to change hair to suit the needs of an individual design.
What is your greatest skill as  a stylist?
Innovation! I can always come up with a new idea.

What do you talk about with your clients?
I love finding out what makes my client tick. Also, being a foodie, my clients and I are always swapping tips on new places to eat.

Why did you get into the hair industry?
It’s hard to say. I studied  psychology but nothing creative until I first saw someone cutting hair. I instinctively knew I would be great at it.

What is your personal passion?
Food, fun, architecture and fashion spaces are my things. I never tire of the adventures I share with my partner, Gabriel, and dog Inca.
